Innerbloom Therapy Website Case Study
Overview
Innerbloom is a psychotherapy practice that needed a website reflecting the same care and thoughtfulness they bring to their clients. The brief was simple in words but demanding in execution: build something that feels safe before a single word is read. For people visiting a therapist's website, first impressions carry real emotional weight, and a cluttered or cold design can quietly push the wrong message.
My Role
The design started with tone rather than layout. Soft, muted tones and generous white space were chosen deliberately to keep the experience from feeling clinical or corporate, and every section was structured to guide a visitor gently rather than overwhelm them with options. WordPress and Elementor were used to give the practice full control over their content without needing a developer for every update.
Appointment scheduling was built directly into the site so that booking a session required as few steps as possible, removing any friction for someone who may already be anxious about reaching out. The blog was set up with a clean, readable format to house mental health resources and articles, giving the site ongoing value beyond just a contact page. Responsive design was treated as a priority from the start, not an afterthought, since a large portion of visitors would likely be browsing on their phones during quieter private moments rather than at a desk.

The Result
The finished site functions as a calm, professional front door for the practice. It communicates trust and warmth before a visitor scrolls, handles bookings without friction, and gives the therapist a platform they can keep updating with resources over time. The client had a site that matched the standard of care they were already offering in person.
