Most therapists searching for a web designer end up with someone who builds everything from restaurants to roofing companies. The result is a site that looks fine but doesn’t convert, because it wasn’t built with a therapy client in mind.
I build WordPress websites specifically for therapists, using Breakdance. That’s where I spend most of my time. Breakdance gives me clean, lightweight output with full design control, no bloated plugins, no slow load times, and no templates that look like every other counseling site.
What You Actually Get
A therapy website built by me covers everything your practice needs to turn visitors into booked clients:
- A homepage that earns trust fast. Therapy clients are cautious. The layout, copy, and photo choices all signal professionalism and approachability before they read a single word.
- Service pages that answer the real questions. Who you help, what sessions look like, what to expect, and how to book. Clients need answers before they pick up the phone.
- A contact flow that removes friction. A clear call to action, a simple contact form, and no dead ends. Every page should point somewhere.
- Google-ready structure. Clean code, fast load, proper headings, and SEO fundamentals built in from the start, not tacked on after.
Why Breakdance
Breakdance is a visual page builder for WordPress. It’s faster and cleaner than most alternatives, and it gives me full control over every element without generating unnecessary code in the background.
For a therapist’s site, that matters. Slow sites lose visitors. Cluttered code is harder to maintain. A Breakdance build is easier to update, loads quickly on mobile, and holds up over time. You also get a WordPress site you can log into and edit text yourself without breaking anything.
Who I Work With
I work with therapists, counselors, psychotherapists, and private practice owners. Solo practitioners and small group practices are the right fit. I don’t work with large clinics or enterprises.
Most clients come to me when they’re launching a new practice, when their current site isn’t bringing in clients, or when they’ve outgrown a DIY template. I’ve built therapy practice websites across different specialties and understand what converts in this niche.

Pricing and Timeline
Pricing depends on the scope. A single-practitioner site with a homepage, services page, about page, and contact form is the most common project. More pages, more complexity, more time.
Full pricing is listed here. If your project falls outside what’s listed, get in touch and I’ll give you a straight number.
Timeline is typically 2 to 3 weeks from the point all content and assets are ready. Delays almost always come from the content side, not the build.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you only use Breakdance, or can you build on other platforms?
Breakdance on WordPress is my primary tool for therapy websites because it gives the best combination of performance and flexibility. That said, I also work in Elementor, Framer, and Wix. If you have a strong preference or an existing site on a specific platform, mention it when you reach out and we can figure out whether it makes sense.
Can you write the copy for my site or do I need to provide it?
I can help shape and edit copy, and for some projects I write it from scratch. If you have your own wording, that works too. Either way, the copy needs to speak directly to the clients you want. Generic placeholder text doesn’t bring in inquiries.
Will my site rank on Google?
A well-built site is the foundation. On-page SEO is included: clean headings, title tags, meta descriptions, fast load times, mobile optimization. Ranking for competitive local keywords takes time and usually needs content on top of the build. I won’t promise page one rankings, but you’ll start from a solid base.
What do you need from me to get started?
Photos, a rough idea of your services and who you help, and any preferences on colors or style. I’ll handle the rest. If you’re not sure about any of that, the intake process walks you through it.
Can you redesign my existing therapy website?
Yes. If your current site is slow, outdated, or not bringing in clients, a redesign is usually the better option over patching what’s there. More on that at the website redesign page.
